The probe lighted up perfectly, after installing on Prusa MK3(S).The senor did not responded though, when metal came near. The light went out, but the prnter did not register the iron nearby.I looked at my old (defect) PINDA and noticed that the inside 2 wires where connected differently. So I cut the wire open and connected black with blue and blue with black. After that the printer also got the notification from the PINDA when Iron came near.I do not know if this is a single error, or that it is for all these PINDA's, but be warned....

Comprata per sostituire il Pinda Probe su Primusa i3MK2S. Nonostante questa sonda sia pensata per modelli successivi si può montare escludendo il cavo bianco che misura la temperatura. Io ho sostituito il connettore a 4 vie con il vecchio connettore a 3 vie collegando solo i cavi marrone blu e nero nel corretto ordine e lasciando scollegato il cavo bianco.Altre piccole modifiche vanno fatte per montare la sonda sul supporto perché risulta un po’ più lunga dell’originale.Molto soddisfatto

Parfait pour ma PRUSA i3 MK2Un des fils ne doit pas être connecté (celui qui sert sur les modèles plus évolués à tenir compte de la température).Je n'ai pas tout démonté. J'ai coupé les fils de l'ancienne sonde le plus loin possible de celle-ci, et j'y ai soudé ceux de la nouvelle sonde.Si vous avez une perte de la mise en mémoire du décalage de Z, lisez sur le forum PRUSA, il faut bien faire toutes les étapes de la calibration, sinon un bug fait qu'il n'y a aucune mémorisation du Z et vous êtes obligé de l'augmenter à chaque fois.

I got this probe because shipping was fast, I was impatient, and didn't want to wait for the one I was having shipped directly from Prusa. The probe worked, but I only used it for 1 day and then the probe from Prusa arrived. It seemed to be a drop-in replacement for the original except for the fact that the OD of the main body (threaded part) was 0.309" and the original measures 0.304". This is not a huge deal, but it does matter in that it makes it harder to adjust up and down within the holder - when the holder's screw is loosened, the holder remains snug around the probe and it takes some force or twisting to make small adjustments.
