Know that I almost never leave amazon reviews, even on items I like.But I just happen to have a minute and I can't shut up about this thing.Now granted I have zero prior experience with filming, streaming, or any kind of media creation. I bought this to get good shots for social media marketing for my business, and only because I cannot yet offord to hire anyone to do these things yet. So I have no experience with other models, or any of this kind of tech in general.But.... I did do my research before buying, and I apparently did it well because I got the right gimbal.My phone is the s23 Ultra, and it's HUGE. Great for me because I have big hands, but I was worried about it being attached to a gimbal. It weighs 275 grams, this gimbal is rated for 400 grams, and it handles my phone like a champ. Motors don't struggle a bit, very smooth movement, very nimble. Took me a little bit of reading and a few instruction videos to get all the features figured out but once I played with it a bit I began to realize just how cool this thing is. The AI tracking feature.... I was skeptical that it would be any good. And its not good, it's great. You do have to keep your face in the shot or it can lose you, but just flash the okay symbol with your hand and it locks right onto you again. So user friendly. I love being able to use the hand signals to start and stop the tracking.This part may be phone specific, I don't know, but I was very pleased to find out that the zoom toggle on the gimbal itself, not only works to zoom the camera in their app, but also works on my phones native camera app. Which is super cool. Zero compatability issues with my phone, bluetooth connects easy, everything just works.Honestly I would have paid more than $200 for this. Especially after having read all the bad reviews on other brands and models, and seeing all the common complaints about other gimbals... this has none of those common issues. None. Only bad review I could find on this one were about it overheating and I have had no such issue. Battery life drains kinda fast if you are using the light on the AI tracker on 100%, but otherwise battery life seems great. I was testing it for at least a few hours at a time and only saw the battery deplete a bar when using the light. Havn't fully tested the battery life to be fair, but it does not seem to drain fast so far. again depends if you are using the light or not.I don't know what else to say. This thing is great and makes phone filming actually fun. Amazing tool. I own a business doing product design and 3d printing, so be on the lookout for a sweet custom designed hardshell/soft interior 3d printed case for this bad boy made by Unreal 3D, because I already got the itch to jump into fusion 360 and get on it.

Great value for money. One of the best gimbals that I have used.

Wer schon ambitionierter filmend mit dem Smartphone unterwegs ist, kommt irgendwann nicht mehr an der Nutzung von zusätzlichen Linsen, Filtern, Adapterhüllen oder Mikrofonempfängern vorbei. Das kann allerdings das Smartphonegesamtgewicht enorm erhöhen (in meinem Fall auf 345g incl. der für die DJI-OM-Gimbals nötigen Gegengewichte!). Da gehen die DJI-Gimbal der OM-Serie mit ihrer Maximalbeladung von 290g schnell in die Knie. Gerade das Filmen mit anamorpher Linse, bei der das Ausschalten jeder Stabilisierung der Kamera obligat sein muss, ist ein Gimbal Pflicht. Und mit meinen OMs gerieten die Aufnahmen bei der Überlastung ruckelig und nicht zufriedenstellend. So konnten diese Linse und ich keine Freunde werden.Und nun der iSteady M6:Dieser bietet mit 400g Zuladung absolute Sicherheit und zudem eine toll durchdachte Möglichkeit des Handy-Austarierens. Man braucht wohl nur in Ausnahmefällen Gegengewichte. Das spart Gesamtgewicht.Allein DAS wäre für mich Kaufgrund genug gewesen, aber Hohem hat offensichtlich nicht nur den Markt beobachtet, sondern auch einfach mal Kundenwünsche erkannt und umgesetzt. Und dabei geht es nicht nur um das, WAS man umgesetzt hat, sondern vielmehr um das WIE!Alle drei Achsen bieten eine nahezu 360°-Bewegungsfreiheit. Gerade der Winkel in der Neigeachse der DJIs hatte sich ja vom OM4 zum 5 oder 6 eher verringert (was man allerdings durch andere Gimbal-Moves ausgleichen konnte).Alle Modi sind ohne mitgelieferte App anwählbar, werden auf einem großen Display sehr hell und klar angezeigt und sind somit natürlich mit anderen Filmapps anwendbar.Verschiedene Standardgewinde ermöglichen das zusätzliche Anbringen von Richtmikros, Lampen etc. Beim OM4 gab es dafür im Zubehörhandel eine Klammer, welche gut funktionierte, aber die Bedienung unhandlich machte. Für den OM6 gibt es so eine Art Motor-Gelenk-Hülle mit Blitzschuhhalterung. Allerdings zeigt das Richtmikro dann etwas zur Seite, und dann ist da ja auch schon wieder das Gewichtsproblem...Der Akku des iSteady M6 hat eine hohe Kapazität, hält gefühlt ewig durch und kann auch als Powerbank fürs Smartphone genutzt werden. Da dieses beim Filmen eher leer ist, als der Gimbal, ist das eine tolle Sache, zumal der USB-C-Port so gelegen ist, dass kein Kabel irgendeine Gimbalaktion stört.Diese Ladefunktion gab es beim DJI OM4 auch noch, allerdings mit ungünstiger Positionierung des USB-C-Ports direkt am Griff, womit das Ladekabel dann immer irgendwie im Weg war oder sich verheddert hat. Bei den OM5ern und 6ern hatte man dieses sinnvolle Feature dann abgeschafft und auch gleich die Akkuleistung deutlich verringert. Vielleicht, um Platz für den eingebauten Selfiestick zu schaffen und Gewicht einzusparen.Übrigens gibt es so ein iSteadyoptimiertes, leichtes, spiraliges Ladekabel mit abgewinkelten USB-C-Steckern gleich mitgeliefert.Das Gleiche mit Lightninganschluss habe ich dazugekauft.So eine Selfieverlängerung vermisse ich beim iSteady nicht, da ich, wenn nötig, einfach einen Monopod oder eine kürzere Telestange anschließe. Schließlich bietet der iSteady für gewisse Aufnahmen sogar einen Modus, in dem ALLE Achsen gesperrt sind. Den gibt es zwar bei DJI auch, allerdings muss man dazu den Triggerbutton gedrückt halten, was einem nichts nützt, wenn der OM4 am anderen Ende des Monopods hängt und man sich umständlich mit Gummis und Klebeband behelfen muss. Oder die Selfiestange am 6er einfach zu kurz ist.Und zur Not gibt es übrigens für den iSteady eine kleine Fernbedienung.Und es gibt einen kastenförmigen Minikameramann, den man einfach magnetisch befestigt. Dem gibt man mit Handzeichen Anweisungen, und schon verfolgt er einen zuverlässig mit der Kamera beim Bewegen, Moderieren etc. Und das Beste...das funktioniert ohne die mitgelieferte Hohem Joy App! Die ist vom Aufbau und der Aufnahmequalität mit DJIs Mimo vergleichbar. Ich nutze beide eigentlich nur für das Auswählen der Gimbalgrundeinstellungen.Ach so...die Art und Weise der Smartphonebefestigung schützt auch angesteckte Bluetooth-Mikrofonempfänger, welche bei Unachtsamkeit gern mal abknicken oder umbiegen. So kann man die ganze Konstruktion abgeschaltet auch mal schnell in die Tasche stecken und vermisst die DJI-Magnetklemme nicht allzusehr.Alles in allem ist dieser Gimbal perfekt durchdacht, ich habe ihn jetzt mal fast 10h am Stück eingeschaltet benutzt, mich hat nicht mal das als sein einziger Nachteil höhere Gewicht gestört.Und die anamorphe Linse und ich sind jetzt Freunde geworden. Und das hat mit diesem Preis für das Gebotene auch nicht allzuviel gekostet.

Entonces yo soy un poco newbie en este mondo de los Gimbals. Pero estudié bastante el mercado para poder tener una opinión al respecto de este producto. El estabilizador Hohem iSteady M6, es sin cualquier duda del producto que positivamente más me sorprendió en los últimos tiempos. Cuando se abre la caja y principalmente el estuche protector, percibimos inmediato que se trata de un producto premium. Yo tuve la suerte de comprarlo en promoción pero aún que así no fuera os garanto que cada céntimo es una inversión acertada. Como principal pluses, yo diría que para mi son 5 principales, cuando usado con un iPhone 14 pro, que es mi caso:- el modulo del IA (inteligencia artificial) que nos permite un seguimiento de la cámara para todo el lado, pudiendo elegir donde nos quedamos en el imagen: más a la izquierda, derecha o centro. Esto creo que ningún otro lo hace. Añadiir que este módulo se puede poner en modo selfie o virado para la frente de la cámara;- Adjunto con en IA viene incorporado una Luz que podemos regular en trés vertentes: intensidad, calidez y también color una vez que es RGB (no vi otro a hacerlo de forma tan fácil)- cuando queremos filmar o fotografiar con la lente gran-angular del teléfono, en los otros Gimbals, la estructura del Gimbal aparece en el imagen, con el Hohem iSteady M6 eso no pasa, gracias a un modo de programación que permite que el motor pase de la parte frontal para la parte trasera, lo que es un gran acierto;- El módulo IA permítenos utilizar el Gimbal fuera de la App da Hohem y no vi nadie aun a mencionarlo, pero yo lo intenté con whatsapp y es fantástico, pues si te quieres mover por la sala en una llamada de video la cámara te seguirá para donde quiere que vás mientras haces la llamada. Eso para mi es muy útil en mi actividad profesional pues hago bastantes video llamadas;- El hecho de poder recibir actualización de firmware, también fue un factor influyente en la compra, pues me permite que desde que Hohem lo quiera, y eso lo esperamos, que tengan este producto actualizado con las ultimas novedades del mercado;- Como punto a mejorar yo diría la App. Estaba a la espera de más espacios “moment” (historias que ya vienen en la app). Me gustaria de tener más opciones. Razón por la cual uso la cámara nativa de mi teléfono;- Tambien me gusta bastante que tenga 3 puntos de poner accesorios (pesos, micros, luces, etc) de rosca de ¾;- No siendo el único también es muy útil el hecho de tener poder cargar el teléfono mientras estamos a usar el Gimbal;- “Last but not the least” los materiales de este producto son TopTop.Seguro que me deberé haber olvidado de más algunas características. En resumen estoy inmensamente satisfechísimo con esta compra y con el servicio de atención al cliente. 5 estrellas!
