This is pretty poor, in my opinion. The unit is delivered flat-packed, and is constructed from thin sheet metal. Drawer runners clip into the sides, which again, are pressed steel. The first issue is that the runners can become unclipped pretty easily. The back of the unit is held in place by a couple of small plastic clips and the top appears to just “sit on” and hold the whole thing together. Drawers are made of the same pressed steel, again delivered flat, and the sides need to be bent up at 90degrees to form the sides and bottom of the drawer. The drawer front and back are separate pieces that need to be lined up and held in place by bending tabs on the bottom and sides to hold them in. Putting the first drawer in (I built only one), it became pretty obvious there were issues. First, the drawer - when closed - was lopsided: larger gap at one side than the other. Obviously, I thought, the runner at one side isn’t seated. I tried several times to straighten the runner, but the only thing I managed to do in the end was unseat it on its clips and make the problem worse. I persevered. The next issue is that when I got the runner somewhere close and then put the drawer in, it jammed completely. Pulling the drawer out with some additional gusto unseated the runner, one of the corners at the top popped off, the back slid out and the whole mess twisted out of shape. At that point - an hour in - I gave up. I want to return this item as I do not consider it fit for purpose, but I find that it has not been marked as delivered, so until that happens, I don’t have a route to do that.I’m not an amateur when it comes to assembling furniture, and I’ve an engineering background so I can smell when something isn’t right (I’ve also put “pressed steel flat pack furniture together before - we invested in some garage shelves that used the same system, and they’re absolutely great - 8 sets). I’m not happy at all with this.

This took me about an hour and a half to build, I really took my time, checking and rechecking everything.I also followed the instructional YouTube video - there is a link supplied with the instructions.The end result is very pleasing and very functional. I'm really happy with it.Extra tools you will need are a cross-head screwdriver and something to bend the metal tabs back, I used a pair of pliers for some of them, and the handle of the screwdriver for others. Some of the tabs bend back more easily than others. If something doesn't look like it fits right, take a step back and see if everything is slotted together correctly. This happened with me a few times and was easily rectified.Also, when bending the bases for the drawers, find the side with the arrows on - as I've shown on a photo - and bend those sides UP.5 out of 5 from me, because the end result, when done correctly, is as it should be.

Took longer than expected to build and is a bit of a fuss in places as you really need to be spot on but the instructions if followed are good and the end product looked good and was really handy for the study for storage. Not bad at all but have some patience
