My pup is a mix breed of active medium/ large dogs and loves chasing and tugging on this toy. We have had it for a few months now and is the only toy that has survived his play. Definitely recommend.

We have been using this flirt pole for 3 years now. Not the same one. We repurchase when this one breaks. Not the pole itself but the rope. Our heeler loves to chew the blue cord, so when we are not looking, he can sever it. Having said that, its been a great way to expend his energy out each night.I have to recommend a yoga mat. He jumps many times to reach this rope as we swing it back and forth. So we bought a 1 inch thick yoga mat, and we cover it with his little rugs we have to help protect the mat from scratches. It has worked out really nice and has cushioned his landings like intended. Here is a link below to the one that we use. You can buy "used" which actually are brand new, just returned/damaged boxes. We've had ours 1 year and its lasted with the rugs on top to protect. Highly recommend to protect your pups legs from impact.We have bought MANY types of flirt poles over the years. Many snap in half. We play HARD! ha. But this one is made out of stainless steel. So it is really sturdy when we are pulling our dog back and forth. He loves to pull us around the house and lead us in a circle. You can also spin it around or dangle in the air for them to jump. He is exhausted in about 10 to 15 min. Great at night or bad weather when he cant get out and run. We love it!!

This is good quality, great for bigger dogs or those breeds that are rough on toys. I have three Aussies and they are serious about their hearding and tough on toys 15 minutes of playing with this and they are relaxed for 2-3 hours. Great work out. Good price point

I love everything about this dog toy. In fact, it’s so much better than I expected! I was looking for something that my children could use to engage with our puppy when he was in full “land shark” (teething) mode and I read somewhere that a flirt pole would be a good addition to our already overflowing toy supply. I wish I remembered where I read this tip because I would thank the poster as this was exactly what we needed. The poke itself is incredibly sturdy while still being easy to handle for my kids. I especially appreciate that the rod is made in a way that replacing the attached toy is super easy. The handle is ergonomic and so comfortable to grip - an unnecessary but appreciated touch! The toy itself has already held up to countless hours of chewing (and dragging and throwing and more). All in all I would definitely recommend this dog toy - especially for bitey little pups!

I’ve got a Malinois who LOVES to tug, and she kept chewing up her cat-sisters’ fly poles every time she could get her clever paws on them. This is the absolute solution to the problem and the perfect toy for her. The handle is ergonomic and comfortable, even with my arthritic hands. The pole is strong and flexible enough to take a lot of weight and power. This thing is so sturdy, I’d bet that I could catch a whole great white shark with it. I can certainly catch a Malinois with it!
