These zet of 4 socks are ideal for two things really, either as sock to stop your pet licking due to injury or fo general inside use especailly if you live in an olde house with tiled flooring to keep their paws warm. The only time of the year these oukd realistically b d outside would be in dry weather only where he ground is dry too. The socks a decent stretch so easy to add to the paw and then come with a hook and loop strap to help keep the sock on. Underneath are sticky type pads in a paw print design so your pooch an have some traction on slippy surfaces too. A pretty nifty design in keeping for dogs with a little paw pint pattern and being grey will less likely to show the dirt up so quickly.My only negative is the strap, it's got no give and very restrictive. I personally think instead of the straps that a non stick veterinary tape with some stretch would be better, the sort used in veterinary practices tha doesn't stick to fur as this has more stretch.

My dog has been wearing socks since his rear legs have become weak and he can at times drag his paws. Boots have proved too heavy and have restricted his walking, so we use socks. This particular set I have found to have too much stretch in the fabric and the non elastic velcro strap is therefore inadequate to hold them up successfully which means the socks then become an impediment to walking.
