I read the reviews and almost did not order this because some people said it was hard to open. Mine opens with a soft push and closes just as easily. It's great quality and I ordered it with the under table mount which I thought was a little expensive compared to the drawer itself but that is not unusual because they usually get you on the price of the accessories.All in all, I would buy this again and anyone saying it is hard to open probably got a dud and should inquire about warranty because mine is smooth as silk.
