Works well with my existing Friedland, the push button had broken and this was a great replacement. Although does feel expensive for just the push button...

I always thought Honeywell made quality products so had no concerns about paying a high price just for a push-button. But after 4 months the battery died. The clips attaching it to the base broke off. No worries - double sided tape will do. New battery lasted only a few days but I had had it in house a while. Bought a brand new battery - it only lasted a few days too.So for far less than the price of just this button I will buy a whole new system. Honeywell - in the bin!As an engineer I had to look inside. The actual button is a small springy metal ‘clicker’ which when pressed makes contact with the circuit board. It is held in place with a piece of sellotape! Awful design. I think it may have moved and was permanently on.
