Besonders für Kinder ein echter Hingucker!Allerdings sind einige der filigranen Details etwas schwierig aus der Form zu lösen, besonders bei weicheren Teigen. Manchmal braucht es ein wenig Mehl oder vorsichtiges Nacharbeiten, damit nichts hängen bleibt. Außerdem hätte ich mir gewünscht, dass die Formen etwas größer sind.

The set 1 has some cute cookie cutters each made of two pieces - both in plastic: the cookie cutter (which has a slight bevelled bottom section to cut through the dough and a flattened top section so you can easily put pressure on it) and then a separate inner section with 2mm deep lines to imprint features on the face and body of each animal. I found the cutting side of the utensils very effective but the middle section not terribly. That's because the dough expands while baking and so the lines aren't very visible on the finished cookie. Unfortunately the outer cookie shape is not clear enough on its own to make anyone realise that the animal represented is a giraffe, elephant, panda, tiger, zebra, lion, hippopotamus or monkey but I guess the inside element will be fine for fondant. I also found that some of the inside details were hard to imprint because the dough would stick to them despite having been dipped into flour. The utensils come packaged in a yellow cardboard box with a big window so you can see what's inside. There is even a cookie recipe on the bottom and note that they're not dishwasher safe or for children below 3. A sticker has been added with contact details of the manufacturer and their UK representatives alongside a UKCA logo.
