These may be a tad too large for the Fixture on my 4L distillery but once installed, I rest assured that I wont have any foggy chalky water to feed my plants, cook tea or coffee, my food, as well for in my steam appliances. We have very hard water, fill a glass and there are thick flakes of lime in there. You literally have to clean them in citrus acid or white viniger, or throw them away. Glass, electric kettles,and so much more, destroyed.I've used other charcoal filters over the years. They were too thin or broke after a couple of usages, water was cloudy, yuck! No longer a problem with these filters. Water distills clear, free from minerals and chemicals and tastes good. Do buy!
