Hotone Nano Legacy Mojo Diamond 5W Mini Gitaar Amplifier Head

Ok I am stunned. I thought this would be a great little amp for just messing around on and as an interesting conversation piece. I was wrong. It is those things but it is a real no s**** amp. I play mostly Gretsch and this little amp can give me the grit I need for blues & southern rock type music and when plugging in my little Tele and dialing off the gain I get a pretty amazing clean tone. Ok a tube amp it is not but my uneducated ears like what they hear. Yes I have tubes (blackface Fenders, Tweed Gibson, Magnatone) but they are all heavy and as much as I love em they are a pain to drag around.Can u gig with this? Oh heck I don't know, possibly in a small venue if your drummer isn't going maniac on you but it shines if you are just jamming with friends or practicing ( headphones work well with it too)...I have used it with a 1x10, 1x12, and a 2x10 and this little amp drives them all. My only concern is its longevity but time will tell. Its solid state so it should survive so long as I don't drop it from 100 feet or throw it in the pool...Do I like it? Yes and I might try the other "flavors" of this amp in time. So is it worth it?Yes it it's worth it. 100 bucks with free shipping and you get an amp that fits in your hand and it sounds really really good...how can that be bad?

A truley awesome bit of kit. Using it in conjunction with the Hotone Verb pedal for some jump-blues tones thru a very vintage (and original) cab loaded with a Celestion P74 1772 model G12. This amp and the Verb pedal will sit comfortably in the back of the cab on a sliding tray along with the power supplies. The eq controls are astonishingly wide ranging and very effective with enough gain to create some creamy driven crunchy tones that are a dream mid fretboard on a L.P. Great build quality, very cute micro-amp asthetics and obviously some great electronic design work has gone into the circuitry. Comes with some very useful connectivity......4 to16Ω spkr OUT (self-sensing), Send/Return FX loop, 3.5mm Aux IN, 3.5mm headphone OUT. I wouldn't expect to gig with this as a stand-alone backline amp but wounld definitely sound great mic'd up and stuck thru the P.A. It's more than enough power to drive the delicate vintage P74 and produces all the tones you'd want and then some. Not a cheap option but where space and quality of tone is at a premium I would have no hesitation recommending this little gem!

Gedacht war er als clean amp um meine Effektgeräte anzuschließen. Das funktioniert ganz prima.Habe den Amp mittlerweile auf dem Pedalboardfest verbaut und habe immer "meinen" Sound dabei, und bin nicht auf vorhandene amps angewiesen. Ich gehe vom Kopfhörerausgang direkt in die PA, und benutze den Hauptausgang als Bühnenmonitor. Da haben die max. 5W bisher gereicht. Der Effektloop war allerdings nicht so toll, da haben zwei unteschiedliche reverbs unschöne Geräusche verursacht. Vorgeschaltet funktioniert alles wie es soll.Ich bin total glücklich.Habe auch bereits verschiedene Instrumente daran testen können. Ausser E-Gitarre auch Westerngitarre, E-Bass und eine Ukulele mit Piezo Tonabnehmer. Klang alles soweit echt gut.Die Ukulele mit etwas reverb klang sogar umwerfend.

I purchased this to run through the speaker on my 40 watt Fender Hot Rod Deluxe III. The Fender is much too loud to play while my little one is sleeping, I did not have to worry about ohm's as this head works with 4-16ohms. All I needed was a longer speaker cable to run from the Mojo Diamond to the existing speaker in my Hot Rod and man, I was floored instantly. Sounds like a much quieter version of my amp, great tone, great volume control, and it took my pedal board the same as my Fender, perfect! The only thing it's missing is reverb and this would be the complete package!
