These pliers are cheap and so I'll give an xtra star. They look like Knipex pliers on purpose. That made me wonder "how bad can they be". Well, they are very hard and frustrating to adjust, sometimes taking many seconds to get the mechanism to release. After messing with the pliers a bit, I guess the trick is to push really hard on the button as it has to be in all the way to get the teeth to fully release. Not easy to do with my pair of pliers.Skip these and stick with the traditional design of water pump pliers. Or spend the money for Knipex, Gedore or others.
