We want to retrofit a dropper post onto my son's bike which doesnt have any holes in the frame for hidden cables. These are curved to match the curved frame and have a separate c shaped clip which sits over the cable and pushes into places and locks itself in. Exactly what we needed.

Cleaned frame with Windex first. Staying stuck. I just winged it. Kinda got lucky, was in a hurry. They are not going to move. Might want to use tape or pencil marks for markers.

An meinem Cube-Bike fehlte ein C-Clips und diese passten perfekt. Die Klebepads halten noch gut, hier muss die Zeit und vorallem regelmäßige Reinigungen des Bikes zeigen, ob sie dem standhalten. Der erste Eindruck ist auf jeden Fall gut und die Montage war einfach.

These are great to route bike brake and gear cables where you dont have bosses etc for this, and much neater solution than cable ties etc. They can also be part hidden underneath tubes. The base has 3m adhesive and is slightly pre curved but can be flexed easily as they are thin aluminium so can fit different tuve sizes, and the shape also has a channel for the cable to sit in.The C clips are standard bike cable C clips, and this means they can be easily un-clipped without waste for any servicing etc., unlike cable ties. They also shouldn't damage paint unle the style of metal or plastic clip that go all aorund the tube.The only question is longevity of the adhesive on the pads, though rain and bike washes etc.This set is good for example for a single speed bike where you fit a flip/flop hub and need to route a rear brake cable as a result, but also any extra cable you want neatly routed.for £6 (Aug '24) i think the value is good for the solution and 10 sets (1 base + 1 clip per set).
