This has been used on a electric conversion off road fat bike with a 21 speed shifter set.The bike was going to be using its original chain for the time being but we decided to use a new one instead, as the bike has gold highlights in the paint and decals it seemed this chain was perfect for it.Once my son had shortened it by a couple of links we adjusted the gears so they change smoothly and my son took it for a test run on some local woodland tracks.The chain didn't give us any worries at all, it ran and shifted up & down through all the gears just fine even when the gears were changed quickly and aggressively, the weather has been atrocious recently so although the tracks do dry off fairly quickly there are some particularly muddy spots and a couple of areas where you need to follow a shallow stream when it's been raining a lot and even when covered in mud & dirt it ran just fine.A quick jet wash and a spray of lube and it looks as good as it had just come out of the box.Whilst it's not a top quality chain of the kind professionals would use it's more than up to the kind of riding even the more adventurous typical rider might put it through.
