Got this to test how they would look with my mags for my Airsoft M4 and it looks pretty cool, it isa bit of a pain getting them on, but once they are on they aren't gonna budge. the material is pretty good and probably won't suffer that much damage if you happen to drop the mag.The only issue you might have is the cost as if you have a lot of M4 mags it will quickly become expensive, apart from that I'd say its a pretty good product.

[For the sake of transparency, I received this item for free through the Amazon Vine programme on condition that I leave an honest review. I give this review honestly and the fact that I did not pay for this item has not influenced my rating]The sleeve fits very nicely on the STANAG type of airsoft M4/AR-15 magazines, doing so very snugly where I don't have to worry about it coming loose. It takes a decent amount of elbow grease to remove the sleeve from the mag. With the quick-pull base taking up the whole of the mag's ventral footprint, the sleeve is only practical to use with low and mid-cap mags as it would be unfeasible to use the winding wheel at the base, nor can you use a winding key unless you put a hole in the side of the sleeve. This would also be the case for gas mags that have a fill valve in the floor plate. The thickness of the quick-pull base gives a lot of reassurance that if you dropped a mag and it hit the ground with the base square on up to 60 or 70 degrees from that, it would reduce the impact considerably - especially handy with gas mags.Being made from rubber, the sleeve is quite the dust and lint magnet but it's easy to clean off if that bothers you a lot. There's no question that I'm happy with this sleeve and I can see myself buying a couple in the next few months, both for the ease of pulling mags and for protecting them.I have no reservations in recommending this sleeve.
