It has over 130 pages so I thought there would be quite a bit of detail. However, it has a large font size, double spaced with wide margins and is laid out almost like a child's book. Each paragraph seems to be an introduction and you go to the next paragraph expecting more detail and explanation but it just goes on to another introduction. But that is not the worst thing about it. There is not a single illustration or diagram. For the 10 songs included, it simply lists the notes and tells you which holes to leave uncovered and gives no guidance as to the length of each note. You would only be able to play the tune if you already knew it. Before I purchased it I noticed it had one 5 star rating but no review. I now assume that rating was from the author or someone else on behalf of the author.

I was stupid, I didnt read page two. I did not want to know how to play the music of yonega, not interested in green sleeves..wanted actual native american music.

Though the book is informative it does not show finger patterns. But it did come quickly.
