I've tried so many chemical preparations, many at great expense and non of them worked! This brush clears virtually all the weed. Sure it gradually comes back but can just be cleared again. As to the problem of trying to clean the brush, I leave it to dry and then use an old hair comb to tease out the dried stands of weed. I find this a quick and efficient method of cleaning the brush ready for it's next use.

I have a water feature with rocks. The telescoping pole reaches all the places I need it to. The brush head works great for scraping the annoying algae off. Works perfect.
