Fast shipping and good quality pond! Took some time to assemble as you had to use quite some force to put the corners together! Once it was finished it's a sturdy construction though. The container of water itself is a big plastic- sack that hangs on a metalframe with canvas support on the sides and with 3 viewing windows. Only minus is that their is no support under the sack at the bottom, so it rests directly on the ground! I bought a cheap garage rubbermat that I will use underneath when I move the pond from the basement of my house out into the garden next month.

I decided to get this pond after looking at videos online.Was quite easy to assemble on my own following the instructions but did need a bit of strength for the final tube to fit, this however made the frame very stable. Looks really good and am very pleased with my choice. The fish seem to like it too. So does the cat, she sits and watches them. I love the portholes, fish come to see what I'm doing and I can sit and watch them.Only downside was there was no way to fit any marginal plants which I wanted, this was solved with some floating planters and some pipe lagging. I have also installed a gravity filter i inherited and along with the pump/filter the water is crystal clear to the bottom.Durability only time will tell but, it appears to be made of good quality materials and very well made as I would expect from Hozelock.No hesitation in recommending this as an addition to a garden.One year on and the pond has thrived as have the fish. no leaks and a recent water test was spot on for all prameters. The porthole windows need cleaning every few days, I purchased special Blagdon cleaning pads for this but the windows are no longer clear. I can not see into the pond and can only see the fish when they are literally next to the glass.
