Arrived... with difficulty (get your Amazon one-off code right or you're locked out of delivery and have to watch the item being transported away, only to be delivered again next day). Unboxed and switched on. Screen remained black, the machine spoke to me in German and I was completely stuck. No way forward. Amazon wouldn't replace the item, only a refund. But the price had increased by €200 by then. They agreed to refund the difference but only as a gift card... Luckily found the same item, same price on Amazon NL, 'in stock' but can't be delivered until end April 2025 (6-7 weeks' delivery time). Sticking with it for now but likely to cancel if I find an acceptable alternative. And yet, Amazon NL is still selling the same item, same price, 'in stock', but not for delivery right now. What's that all about? If it's genuinely in stock, why wait to deliver? Think I had bad luck at first, but am currently in a situation even Kafka would be proud of...
