The original bands have a hard plastic insert, which is needed to hold bands tight to the fitness tracker face. unfortunately, these do not have those insert (gel only). Had to purchase a different watch band set with steel inserts.

Replacing the straps was straightforward enough, BUT, the screwdriver tip is so small and delicate and started to round off so that I had to file half a millimetre from the end of the tip so it fit the screws exactly. It's not very durable and probably won't last to replace another strap.That said, the strap itself has metal fixings, so won't come apart like the silicon one. The nylon of the strap is fairly rigid, but should loosen up after time. It replaced the strap on my Forerunner 30 and fit perfectly.
