I ordered this after I returned a cheaper product that refused to work - I don't normally bother writing reviews but this product is exceptional, so I thought it only fair.I am using this as a door viewer rather than a reversing camera, and it's spot-on!I wanted a camera that didn't rely on Wi-Fi, or a smartphone, and I wasn't bothered about recording images, I just wanted to see who is at my door when I am working in another room. Therefore, I didn't want to spend loads on features I didn't need. It turns out that this is not as easy as you might think - but I am so glad I chose this product in the end!Sooo easy to install, literally just the 3pin cable from camera to monitor screen and the power cable from the monitor to a 12V 'cigarette lighter' socket (I bought a DOLILO 240v to 12v Adapter, Car Adapter to Plug Socket for £7.99 on Amazon). It is continuously on, but there is a red button on the 12V plug that comes with it, so you can turn it off when you want. The cable from the camera to the monitor is 10 metres long, which is really useful! Although, if you are only using it for a short distance you have the option of not using the extension coil as the camera cable will join directly to the monitor cable.Installation is a breeze, but be aware that it does not come with any fixings, (apart from a sticky pad if you want to use one of the stands - the other stand is the suction-cup style) - but all you need is a couple of screws to fit the camera holder to a wall or ceiling (or your vehicle if that's what you are using it for!) - so I have not knocked any stars off for that. Adjusting the camera angle is a case of loosening four small screws on the holder adjusting it and then retightening them. You need to remove all 4 of them initially and remove the camera in order to fit the holder though, so it can be a bit fiddly refitting the 4 screws (as they are quite small) depending on where you have decided to position the camera. A bit of trial and error got it sorted in a few minutes for me though.The picture quality is great - I will update this review when I have seen what it is like in the dark (the LED lights on the camera are light sensitive, so come on automatically when it gets dark).In summary, well engineered, simple but effective. :)UPDATE: Night vision is fine, a bit grainy and monochrome, but perfectly useable.
