Such a good deal. Good quality! Exactly what I expected.

Na mijn nieuwe MacBook Pro moest ik een zoektocht beginnen naar een alternatieve tablet voor mijn Wacom. De drivers van de Wacom werden niet meer geupdated (om je te pushen een nieuwe te kopen)Maar de nieuwe Wacoms zijn absoluut rubbish met een MacBook 2020. (ik had er een geleend) Dus ik dacht, ik probeer een eenvoudige Huion. Ik dacht, als deze werkt neem ik een upgrade naar een duurdere.Als vervanging van een muis werkt deze redelijk, maar hij heeft irritante failures. Zo kan hij je Dock (de balk onderin of aan de zijkant met al je apps) niet oproepen, daar is hij simpelweg te ongevoelig voor. En een rechte lijn trekken in Photoshop (met shift) kan hij ook niet. En te vaak, als je laptop meeneemt en tablet opnieuw moet aansluiten, krijgt de driver geen signaal en moet je eerst herstarten. Chinese rubbish, dus. Geld niet waard. Ik ga verder zoeken.

De tekentablet werkt goed. Ik gebruik hem dagelijks om aantekeningen te maken tijdens mijn college's.Het enige minpunt is dat de tip van de pen best wel snel slijt (na ongeveer 2 maanden langdurig gebruik), maar gelukkig zitten er meerdere extra tips bij.Alles is natuurlijk plastic fantastic, maar wat verwacht je van deze prijs. Ik zou hem zeker aanraden.

This is the first drawing tablet that I've used. It takes a bit more getting used to than a tablet where you write directly onto the screen, but the HUION allows you to use a digital stylus to draw or write on any PC. It works very well. To give you an idea of the quality of work it can produce, I've attached a portrait I drew of Dame Judy Dench.The drawing area is a good size - about the size of a 13.3" laptop - and there are buttons on the tablet and pen that can be customised, as long as the thing you want to customise it to is in the list on the app (I would like to have customised one of the pen buttons to work the eraser, but this isn't an option that's available). In case anyone is wondering whether other digital pens would work, I tried a Lenovo pen on this tablet - and it didn't. The pen that comes with it works very well, though. It doesn't need a battery and you get several (identical) replacement nibs.The drawing tablet is not tied to one PC. I have a laptop and a desktop, and the devise can easily be switched between the two. The drivers were no hassle to install from the HUION website and worked straight away on both Windows 10 and Windows 11. With some of the earlier models, the instructions say that the drivers need to be installed 'as an administrator', but with this newer HS611 model, all I had to do was download and install. Another advantage of this particular model compared to some of the earlier HUION tablets that look similar but are cheaper, is that it uses a USB C cable instead of the older, and more prone to breaking, micro USB style cable.I paid £61.59 using a 20% voucher that can currently be applied on Amazon by ticking a box. At that price, I would highly recommend it.

This is my second Huion graphics tablet, the first was many years ago and only had a small drawing area. I have also used Wacom and other makes before settling on this purchase. What won me over was the price, and what features you get for that price. To be honest is looked good.My first impressions when opening the package, it looked sleek, the pen felt great in the hand. The surface wasn't too friction free. Installing took a second, well as long as it took to download the driver (Windows 10 Pro, 64bit, 1903 ) from Huion. Simply double clicked, and then plugged the device in and I was away. It was easy, and a quick test showed everything was working, pen pressure and all function keys worked and could be preset within the Huion software. I was also impressed with my first feel of drawing on the tablet, it felt relaxed and pen felt much better than my old Huion pen, which had the weight of a battery added to it. I also quickly tried it on my Android phone, and it simply worked with no messing about. The drawing area is greatly reduced as the phone only recognises a quarter of the drawing area.Now a week or so on, and using many packages from Photoshop CC, Krita, Gimp, Corel, Paintstorm Pro, Autodesk Sketchbook, etc... And I am very pleased, it worked well with them all. Now by all means spend the money on a Wacom tablet, but for this size of drawing area you will be spending much more. And I am hard pushed to see what you get for it. The build quality with Huion is great, as I will admit to dropping mine from the desk at least twice already. Not a crack, split, or mark. I adore all the short-cut keys they are a wonder and you get plenty so you can set them up to do whatever you wish via the Huion software, I am still playing to see what is best for my workflow. The pen itself is very easy to use for hours at a time. Sometimes the tablet is flat on my desk, but sometimes I am holding it and this is equally comfortable. But I could never go back to a smaller tablet now. It only took a few days for this to feel natural and an extension of my creativity. I think I only needed to slightly adjust the pressure within the Huion software slightly to get the full range. Before i have played about for ages until I was happy. I would recommend this to anyone, but if a beginner maybe look for a cheaper option to see if drawing with a graphics tablet is for you. After all this will not make you a better artist.Oh and makes sure you have a lens cloth with you, or one of those two fingered gloves some wear. Finger prints show up like crazy on this. It may not annoy many, but it can get a bit tiresome when you see it looking on your desk looking like it has been groped by a mob of school kids. But that is a tiny negative point.
