I purchased version without SSD and memory so I installed following parts:- (CT2K8G4SFRA32A) Crucial DDR4 SODIMM 2x8GB 3200- (CT500P3SSD8) Crucial P3 500GB M.2 SSDOS installed is OPNsense 24.1 and works fine, no issues at all.In my case Turbo was OFF so CPU was running on 2GHz, if you want 2,9GHz in Turbo you need to enable it in BIOS....or it was just in my case.Support is awesome, big brands can learn something from them. When I was serching in internet about this Mini PC I notice that some people had active cooling installed 40mm or 80mm fan. I asked support about it and they send without problems "fan kit" in case you need it. Very quick response on messages and detiled explanations about everything you ask.

arrived the next day worked perfectly.i did contact the seller to ask if a fan could be installed and the seller replied pretty quick and offered to send me a fan kit free of charge which arrived after 10 days from China.so far it has been working great and kudos to the seller for the extra service.

Ik heb dit kleine systeempje nu 7/8 maanden en bevalt nog steeds zeer goed.Ik heb er pfSense op lopen een LAG met een trunk van 8 vlans naar mijn switch en werkt zeer goed en snel.Ik heb er 16gb ram in en 128gb M.2 drive 👍

Product was direct leverbaar(2 dagen), daarom hier besteld. Maar pakket was eerst even zoek en later toch netjes bezorgt. Ziet er goed uit dus had goede hoop. Maar helaas hij ging niet aan. Geen lampjes die aan gaan wat je ook doet. Helaas,..

Been looking at these for a while and finally took the plunge - it worried me slighlty that the vendor emails shortly afterwards about only buying "big name" RAM, but I'd already ordered 16GB of Crucial 3200MHz DDR4 ( which works without problem. There are 2 SODIMM slots, in total. Also added a 500GB M2 NVMe SSD ( and everything works a treat.Beware of pfsense, the current Community Edition (CE) build 2.6 doesn't support this specific I226v Network Card and won't complete the install as it says there are no NICs installed so you have to go for 2.7CE Development build and then upgrade to pfsense plus (which is free for home use) - Latest OPNSense DOES support the I226v but I tried both and preferred pfsense (I really didn't like OPNSense!) so I went with the 2.7CE Dev build, not that I've seen any issues, it seems pretty stable, and then upgraded to pfsense+ 2301.I haven't added a fan, I'm just running passive cooling and averaging 46-47C with Snort IDS which is well within the bounds of the processor.Overall I've been running for a few weeks now, and on my 350Mbps Virgin line its been very stable, no issues at all.. Shipping was super quick, took only just over a week from ordering, well packaged.

I was looking for a little box to experiment on ESXi and came upon this gem.While it works great as a security device, it is even better after I got ESXi running on it.As it has 4 ports, able to pass through 2 ports to make pfsense completely isolated in addition to other VMs to play around.So far it has been running for months and no unplanned downtime.

Funziona beneConsiglio alla versione attuale di scaricare la beta, registrati sul sito la versione free e migrare dopo l'installazione alla stabile di pfsense+ versione free chiaramente, vi eviterete notti insonni per riconoscere le 4 schede di rete Intel

Problème de stabilité sous différents OS (esxi, proxmox, linux...). Nécessite soit une mise à jour du bios, soit une update du microcode dans l'OS (testé sous esxi et plus un seul plantage depuis).Sinon PC parfait pour un routeur, tourne pour ma part sous OPNsense virtualisé via ESXi, avec également une vm linux et quelques conteneurs docker. Chauffe un peu,
