Easy to fit and fits the 16 Pro model well, offering an extended life for the iPhone than the internal battery alone. There’s not much in the way of handset protection using this case so care would need to be taken as it wraps very close to the phone and has no screen-saving lip on the front to protect from direct impact if dropped.The battery pack looks to have generic firmware installed for the charging circuitry and power on/off functions. There’s 4 blue LED’s on the back of the unit to indicate power available and the power button function is press to power on, double press to power off. Charging the battery pack is done via a generic USB-C connector, which isn't included in the pack, but of cause you should have one for your phone already which works just fine with this case.You will need to be aware of a couple of considerations before purchase; this case prevents the use of the wireless charge function. Also you’ll probably not want to go this route if you use a car mount as there’s a very good chance this won’t fit the clamp of universal holders. Whilst these two observations are pretty obvious due to the nature of the product, you’ll need to make your mind up if you want to forego certain features and return to cables to have extended power attached to your handset. In my situation, I don’t really want to lose either so the case gets removed often and is used only when necessary, returning to a more traditional case when extra battery power isn’t needed but other useful features are.at just short of £20 at the time of my order, it is much better than some other manufacturers that seem to be somewhat profiteering from people that have the newest handset from Apple. I’m sure the resulting fatigue of constant removal of the case will shorten its life somewhat as the top of the case needs to be bent backwards to fit to and remove from the phone. For me it provides a good emergency power supply if I find myself away from home longer than expected whilst travelling.
