The lid is very poorly made. Lid does not fit right at all. You cannot turn the lid on to the pot due to miss alignment and warped lid. The lid knob turns instead of the lid turning to close so you can strain your food. Tried tightening the knobs and that doesn't help at all. I do love the pot, but the lid is junk. The only way to strain anything would be to hold both sides of the lid to dump your liquid off. If the lid is hot, what then. I would have no problem with the price if the lid worked right. Can't send it back. Should have checked it before I said the box it came in could be recycled. A pricey $60.00 goof up. I had another one that's about 10 years old and still works like a charm. It just has alot of coating missing. Alot of the reviews I read said they had the same problem. I figured i would try it instead of listening. No I would not recommend.
