Received early and works well to replace the Stihl coil 4140 1303A coil on my FS45 trimmer.

Bought this coil to fix a Stihl fs45 gas trimmer. Ad description says it fits this model, which it does, but timing is approx 80 degrees retarded. Did some research on these trimmers and Stihl made a few timing changes to these gas trimmers over the years. Even the dealership couldn't tell me which of the two coils they stocked for this trimmer was the correct one. Unfortunately, it is VERY difficult to get the correct coil for the fs45, the part numbers must match exactly (from what I reseached) even though they physically fit.I did get this trimmer running but I had to file the key off the flywheel and clock the flywheel in to 8 degrees BTDC which took a timing light, degree wheel and some trial and error. Also scraped the taper to improve fit before reassembly.DEFINITELY not worth the work. This coil is NOT a bolt on fix for an FS45
