It's works perfectly, even though it looks different compare to the original one, but it works, if your toilet has the old one like the picture I share, this will work

These are difficult to find anywhere however having purchased these I can rest assured that I will not have to buy a new toilet suite

Have a Ideal Standard close coupled toilet which needed a water inlet valve diaphragm as it started to leak. Looked at so many items on the internet and impossible to know what is matching. Ordered from Screwfix as round the corner and read be careful there is a difference between the inlet valve top being screwed on and one that (like mine) that turns a quarter way and opens.... even though I asked at screwfix based on some reviews I was told "yeah it should be ok" ...I had a bad feeling straight away, but with no other choice I took a punt at around £2.80. Unfortunately, when fitted it was even worse as was for screw top and water poured out to cistern and I had to then close the mains as I couldn't get to the back of the toilet as all boxed up. Thankfully saw this and even though I think for what it is, essentially a piece of small rubber (5pack for £20), I think over priced. Compared to the original is not as good quality when you feel the texture and thickness, but much better than the screw fix (suppose the old adage you get what you pay for!) which was much thinner and more pliable. Having said all that this delivery arrived super fast the next day and as soon as I installed it resolved the gushing water straight away. So from that perspective very well pleased, hope it lasts as long as the original which was 7years.... though now I know how to change the diaphragm on both the inlet valve and outlet unit as I opened up... hopefully pain now will help in future without having to pay £55 last year for same job a plumber did in 5mins (he had a call out charge and a few quid for diaphragm)!! Wish there was way you could tell part numbers, if they were stamped on somewhere visibly, it would save a lot of hassle when trying to gauge what you order is correct.

REAL Value for my money, so VERY VERY simple and easy to install this replacement, NO tools needed, I would recommend this replacement100percent as it did exactly what its purpose was.Do NOT hesitate in buying this washer if you occur a dripping toilet system.After I replaced this washer in one of my toilets in my house and checked that it did the job I ordered 3 more washers as I have 3 toilets in my house so that I do have replacement's on hand
