I purchased this to sharpen my lawn mower blades on my true cut lawn mower I just got tired of taking my lawn mower to a shop and they just charge too much so I start doing it myself I know this is for ice skates and trying to cut through the ice I figured this can cut through my lawn works great

Das macht jetzt die Kufe nicht neu, aber man merkt das Extra an Schärfe.Größere Scharten kann man mit dem aufgeklebten Schleifstein etwas egalisieren, der trägt auch etwas Material ab. Natürlich nur seitlich anwenden!Wer jetzt nichts verstanden hat, sollte das Tool lieber nicht einsetzen, und sich fachkundige Hilfe holen.

We used this deburring tool to successfully smooth out both pairs of our ice skates.My husband, who has experience in sharpening ice skating blades wants to clarify that the device is actually a deburrer that only removes little nicks along the side of the blades. The package is labeled "blade sharpener" which can be confusing to those unfamiliar with this tool. This device, including the whetstone, did smooth out the edges nicely. He did a fingernail test and the blades were indeed smooth. We are recreational skaters so we'll be using this tool about every three months or so. This will help the skates glide a little better.This is a cool little tool that will be part of our ice skate maintenance and we recommend this product.

I ordered this tool as a seasoned figure skater. I had never used this tool personally before I have just had my skates professionally sharpened every season but I was curious about possibly how to do it myself and I thought this tool was the solution and it is far from it. I had to do a lot of googling and looking up videos about these kinds of tools. I found out that this IS NOT a tool to use instead of sharpening but as a touch-up tool in between sharpenings or after a good sharpening and you need to round out the edges ever so slightly. There were ZERO instructions in the packaging which was very not helpful. Once I knew how to use it, it is a very handy tool to keep in your skate bag and good for smoothing out small nicks along the blade but not for going straight along the edge like sharpening because you can get uneven shaving. Use at your own risk.
