I have bought a few over the years and can normally snap them within the first 2-3 uses unless I try to be really carful but this one is solid metal. I have used this with no thought about if I am going to snap this one in two as well. Its well made and feels like I could use it to crush walnuts in it (or bash in a zombie skull) but I won't be doing that. Cleaning can be a bit tedious as its a garlic press and has very small holes but once rinsed you can toss this into the dishwasher if you want.

Quite small,but works well

I have used several style garlic presses in my long life and after using this one at a friends house, I bought it immediately.. Best ever, pulverized multiple cloves at once. Easy to clean.
