Received the product and immediately tested it out.Unfortunately I ran into the problem that one of my drives was not being detected at all.Later when testing with other drives, I noticed issues like Windows giving warnings in the Event Viewer concerning this USB device.Doing a quick test on the hard drives also gave me an error within 20 seconds.I tested it with three hard drives, two from different manufacturers.First I thought it must have been a seating/positioning issue, so I re-seated the hard drives multiple times.This did not help.Also reconnected the docking station multiple times and also tried with different USB ports.Restarted Windows multiple times.The problem remained.So I thought that the product must've been defective.I contacted the seller Inateck.Thankfully they were quick to reply and addressed my concerns.We've came to the conclusion that the docking station must have been defective.So they offered a replacement product, or a refund.I chose a refund, because after reading reviews of other buyers having issues with seating / positioning the hard drive, I did not trust this docking station anymore.Instead, I bought a different external HDD enclosure by Inateck, which is the Inateck ‎FE3001.That enclosure seems to be working fine from the start and does not have seating/positioning issues.

Fonctionne très bien. Ce boitier m'a permis de cloner à l'identique un disque ssd Linux Mint. Il a cloner aussi des ssd. Et surtout un disque dur qui n'était plus reconnu, j'ai pu tout récupérer sur un ssd. Pour bien faire, brancher l'appareil, mettre les disques dur ou ssd, brancher la prise usb, appuyer sur le bouton marche arrêt. Aller dans la gestion des disques et regarder si les disques sont là. Enlever la prise usb, appuyer sur le bouton start cinq secondes et réappuyer immédiatement sur start........ Et c'est parti, une diode bleue clignotante apparait.

Zwar noch nicht lange im Einsatz, aber sehr empfehlenswert wenn man Windows 11 hat und PC mehrfach zurücksetzen muss wegen Update Problemen mit dem Betriebssystem. Schütz vor ev. Datenverlust
