Not for extended use. LEDs faded to orange/yellow after 9 days of use with 12v led supply.Very poor quality. Not recommended unfortunately.

This review is based on the LED lighting strip after they had been installed for two days.I have bought twice, second time following the sucess of the first real being installed.As stated below, there is no indication of which terminal is positive or negative. However removing the cover from the supplied connection will reveal which is which. With the real on my left hand side the postive connection was closest to me, once this is established you are good to go.The silicon protective cover is very easy to cut away to give access to the connetion terminals. Note that these are very small and you have to be good with a soldering iron to make the cable connection.You can cut the strip as shown in the advert between the teminal connectionsThe strip is about 8mm wide (ones I have used before have been 10mm). Advantage of the thinner strip is that it is much easier to bend around corners and in my case allowed the kitchen cupboard doors to open without catching the lighting strip fixed to the underside of the work top. Any bigger and I would have been in trouble.The strips have been fixed to the underside of a work top and the under side of the kitchen wall units. They have adhered well, but additional support is required where the LED strip meets the cable connection (but you would do this anyway). The wall units and work top are all brand new.In total I have made up six individual lighting strips with a total lenght of just under 10m. They are all wired back to a single 12v transformer which connects to the mains via a Sonoff switch which is linked to Alexa.I am very please with the result. My photographs were taken late at night with the main kitchen light turned off. The only light source is coming from the LED strip lights. There is pleanty of light that makes kitchen functional albeit maybe not for cooking a large meal. Time will tell if the sticky holds or if they turn yellow.
