Deze infrarood thermometer wijkt minimaal 3 graden af van de werkelijke temperatuur. Ik heb drie verschillende meters die een gelijke temperatuur aangeven. De afwijking van de infrarood thermometer wijkt 3 graden daarvan af. Dit is niet met de Radiance te corrigeren. Goedkoop = duurkoop in dit geval.

Pour mon travail j'ai toujours utilisé les thermomètres infrarouge du fabricant Fluke, reconnus parmi les meilleurs du marché.En plus de la gamme de température, pour avoir mesuré jusqu'aux plus hautes températures, je retiens 2 vrais paramètres importants à prendre en compte pour l'achat d'1 thermomètre infrarouge : le réglage de l'émissivité et la taille du spot (coefficient optique).Cette fois je cherchais 1 thermomètre petit budget et ce MESTEK -50°C ~ 550°C m'a semblé être le meilleur compromis :réglage de l'émissivitérapport de distance (coefficient optique) 12:1À l'usage mes constats :grâce au faisceau laser le pointage de la cible se fait bienl'appareil est assez réactifpas de beep à chaque prise de température, inutile à mon avisla prise en main est confortable, l'appareil est assez bien équilibré étant donnée la place des pilesl'écran est bien lisible et le réglage des 4 paramètres (alarme haute et basse, °C/°F, émissivité) est rapidele manuel est très bien fait, 1 tableau comprenant les valeurs d'émissivité de différents matériaux est fournicomme règle générale, il faut éviter les chocs thermiques du thermomètre, si la température ambiante varie fortement (changement d'environnement de mesure) il faut attendre 30 minutes afin de stabiliser l'appareil, comme bien précisé dans le manuelpour la mesure de température en recoupant avec 1 thermomètre Fluke de ma plaque en terre cuite dans mon four pizza (émissivité réglée à 0.95), j'ai constaté des différences dans l'ordre de 2.5 ~ 3.5°C pour 1 température de la plaque de 435°C, l'appareil est donné avec 1 précision de 1.5% donc 6.5°C sur 435°C, la performance déclarée est donc bien atteintepour la mesure de l'humidité ambiante en recoupant avec 1 capteur NETATMO, j'ai constaté des différences négligeables, donc très bien aussi pour cette fonction "gadget"     Je ne comprends pas les avis négatifs, honnêtement, l'appareil est bien fait, facile à utiliser, la précision donnée est au RDV, le tout pour 1 prix plus que correct, petit plus les piles sont fournis, l'emballage est bien fait aussi, en plus j'aime bien son couleur noir plus sobre que le jaune/rouge, plutôt standards pour ce type d'appareil.À voir sur la durée mais jusqu'à présent ce petit MESTEK mérite 5 étoiles !!!

More money more features. I have a cheaper laser thermometer that has only 2 features: read real time and save highest read temp. This one reads but doesn't save temps but it does read real time, ambient temp and humidity. I find this very neat. Another reason I chose this is because I didn't want to deal with 9volt batteries. This takes AAA's.Edit: I noticed it takes several minutes for the tool to adjust to the current area humidity. As in for example, if I take a reading in a air conditioned room and immediately afterwards take a reading outdoors on muggy hot afternoon the humidity reading would not be accurate. It will take several minutes to maybe like 10 minutes for the humidity reading to adjust. I'm sure the surface temperature reading is accurate without accurate humidity reading. Still a 5 star tool/toy to me. Just my .02.

I had a look around at what was on offer before I bought this, I get fed up buying stuff and they turn out to be crap and then the hassle of returning them... I read the reviews other buyers had left and it was all positive, that and reading up on the item.. I parted cash and bought it.First thing first, well packed and the instructions ( If you read them ) are simple to follow, but to be honest, the Temperature Gun is so easy to work, you'll pick it up almost right away.I do a lot with computers and retro computers, so its handy to know what chips are having issues or just about to, pointing the gun at the chips gives me an idea if they are over heating ( Over worked ) or not.Wish I bought this sooner, it doesn't break the and its a well made and sturdy gun, fits nice in your hand. The screen is bright and colourful , and you can see what the temperature very easily. It also has a room temperature function and humidity scale too ,which is very handy.So well worth the money, easy to use...and very accurate. If you are looking for a Temperature Gun, you wont go wrong with this... if you are not looking for one.. its a handy tool to have around... been checking my fridge and freezer, the fish tank to make sure its at the right temp... Go For it.. you wont regret it.
