Es tut mir leid, aber Ich bin ein Däne, und so ich schriebe in Englisch, weil mein Deutsch ist sehr sehr schlect:I bought the cable because I bought a new 2013 MacBook Air, and needed to use my old FireWire 400 audio card for recording some vocals. So, since the MBA doesn't offer Firewire at all, I bought the Apple Thunderbolt-to-Firewire-800 adapter, and this adapter cable to get it to Firewire 400.To my surprise, everything worked flawlessly. I was using Windows 7 in Boot Camp, FYI, since the audio adapter in question (M-Audio) is no longer supported on Mac OS X (M-Audio can't be bothered, apparently, to update drivers for new OS versions, but hey it only cost €700 ...). I had to reinstall the Boot Camp drivers with the Firewire device plugged in for them to notice having to install Firewire support drivers, but that had nothing to do with this cable.It works great, and it arrived ahead of expected time, one day before I needed it. Perfect :)Echt cool und so weiter :D

El cable funciona correctamente

Es ist schon eine Frechheit, was Apple an Preisen abzurufen sich erdreistet. Für ein lumpiges FW 400 - 800 Kabel ruft Apple fantastische Preise auf, ich frage mich immer, ob es wirklich jemanden gibt, der denen das abkauft?Dieses Kabel tut absolut seinen Dienst. Ich habe damit ein 6 Jahre altes MB (FW 400) auf eine neues MBP (FW800) umziehen lassen. Da von ersterem der Monitor kaputt war, ging das ganze per Festplattenmodus (mit Apfel-T booten). Alles tadellos. Datentransfer in weniger als 40 min. Absolute Kaufempfehlung!
