Travelling with CPAP machine and the power brick has a figure 8 power socket. This cable replaces the AUS power cord and saves using a travel plug, which won't always fit if the power point is too close to the bed etc etc.When I think of how many of these I sent to the metal recyclers (because they are not needed in Aus and often came with computers) over the years, but I was happy to find one on Amazon at a reasonable price.Make sure your device is dual voltage, obviously this is a power cord and does not covert voltage.I also got a Euro to fig 8 separately and the three cords give me most of the world without travel adaptors.
