Item arrived in a sealable plastic bag, decent thickness. On inspection the coating on the item was intact including the tops of the legs, somewhere damage often occurs. The parts were marked according to the description. The legs tinned well with cored solder, flux pen and home made resin/IPA flux. The legs were clean, bright and free form any visible oxidation. The following data is provided for information only, for those who have some understanding of the uses and limitations of these parts.I had looked the part up via online sources to confirm some of the specs prior to ordering (it would have been helpful for the supplier to provide this information), those familiar with these type of devices will know that there are generally two current ratings that are helpful for deciding appropriate use, the hold current and the trip current (The max voltage and max current are also important but for my purposes I won't be approaching the 72V rating on these parts, referred to on the printed text on the item "72" and typically in the order of 40A for this type of device.).In the case of this part the 300mA (0.3A) in the listing is the hold current or the current the part will pass happily without tripping. The other value, which I confirmed with my very basic test set up pictured is 600mA (0.6A) and the trip time was in the order of 2.5 seconds. The rig was simply a power resistor as a dummy load and the voltage across the PPTC was measured as the current through the PPTC and power resistor was increased, the device was stable at 300mA and did trip at very close to 600mA. I did not measure the recovery time for the PPTC.These are useful items and these supplied ones perform in the way they should, if you know of them to buy them you will probably already know the benefits and drawbacks of their use.In summary, performs as described, delivered clean and damage free.

Good value resettable fuses.I tested a handful and they successfully reset after blowing. Not much more to say about them, except they are in spec as advertised and work fine.5 stars, can recommend.
