Very robust and should last a long time. Don't know exactly what they are made of, but it is possible that they could rust after a while (though I see no rust after multiple rains on the eye's that are showing). They are very strong and sturdy. I used a ratchet wrench to install these which was quick and easy. I first tried a big 1/2-inch drill, and it wasn't up to the task. I'm using these for permanent anchors for thin cable that I tether plant branches and canes to. They have been holder very well. Definitely recommended.

bought these to hold my dog on the beach as all the 14 and 18 inch dont work but i think i have found the holy grail of dog tie out stake this is 27 inchs nice quality heavy duty for my large unbelievable strength beast so very happy with this purchase

Heavier than I needed, which means they're heavy enough. Well made. Good welds. I used them to tie down shades I installed on one side of a 12x20 canopy. The hex driver is convenient. I drove them in using a 1/4" cordless impact. I'd recommend that or a good drill. There are a lot of roots where I used them, and with the impact they cut through most of the ones I ran into. I sent a message to 811 before I started to make sure I wasn't driving them through gas or water lines, and the gas line is about 24" from where I drove these in. Only time will tell how long the last before rusting through, but it should at least be several years.
