This duvet cover/pillow case set arrived simply wrapped in clear plastic.The two pillow cases are the ‘Oxford’ type and not plain ‘housewife’ as shown in the product description.The satin stripe is quite subtle and the fabric is very soft. It is rather thin but although it’s made of microfibre it does look and feel like cotton. The bottom opening fastens with plastic press studs.It has been very hot this last week and this duvet cover was very cool and comfortable, more so than some of our cotton ones. It also washes well on a low temperature wash.This is a good set that is ideal for summer because it’s thin and cool. When I ordered it it was priced at £16.99 which I thought was very reasonable but at its current price of £12.99 it’s a real bargain so it gets 5 stars.

Am so happy with this fresh white bedding , it feels lovely to sleep in and washes really well.The pillowcases are oxford style which are much better than the ones in their photos , they are a generous size and have deep inner flaps for holding the pillows inside.The duvet cover has poppers for closure at the bottom which I find a whole lot quicker and easier than messing about with buttons. The microfibre material feels very soft and smooth , it could easily be mistaken as a nice cool cotton. The whole thing is totally reversable as the subtle stripes are on both sides. The stitching is very well done and I didnt find any loose threads at all.As they do a good range of different colours I am considering another set at a later date because its such great quality.

This is a reasonably good duvet set. The material is super soft with a very dense weave and a good weight. There are some problems though. Firstly, on opening the package, there was a significant quantity of black fluff wrapped up in the duvet?? Next, the pillowcases are Oxford types despite standard cases being shown in the images. And lastly, the cover comes with 'popper' closure - which I prefer to buttons - but they are considered to be the budget option. However, one of the poppers on my example is faulty and will not close, leading to a gaping hole at the bottom - not good.
