In recent months, I bought 3 pieces of intenso 6tb (summer 2024 batch amazon nl and de as the seller) all had wd blue ezaz inside as drive (all 3 ezaz drives made in Th 2023)Personally, I have had good experiences with the wd blue ezaz (couple of years ago i put a number of wdezaz in a PC and are still running) The ezaz are smr HD drives (like many hd drives above 1tb) but these smr are cheaper than cmr and it's not that all the cmr drives have a low number of negative reviews Would prefer a cmr but at least i trust this ezaz smr model for a few yearsIntenso 6tb is silent and feels quiet, purring quietly and barely audible or palpable with vibrations and has a normal temp around 40c, the writing speeds seemed normal to me and average has its own on/off switch, usb3 cable and Europe power adapter.The fourth intenso 6tb from amazon seemed to have just a little more vibration, so that one goes back just to be on the safe side (although that intenso also worked normally),could have worked for years, but yes, why risk it was just a small difference with the other intensos 6tb but you don't knowThe Intenso goes rather quickly in standby mode and headparking i asume so the head parking counter goes up quickly (crystal disk info) if you write something to the intenso every 5 min but more external hd suffers from that short time it's save because if you bump it after it has gone to standy/headparking than it does not do harm personally 10min or more to sleeptime would be better for meComes as a Fat format so I did on the intenso the quick short formatting to ntfs first.Amazon ships the intenso boxes in its wisdom (so far) in the original box with an address sticker on top and if indicated at checkout, put extra packaging as in an extra Amazon paper bag, so no extra hard box. It's only because of the price that I buy HDs from amazon and smooth return if you don't like it.Actually, these sensitive HD should be shipped much better, I won't buy the internal HD ones, at least with external hd drives you often have its own factory box with some foam blocks [in which the intenso sits] as protection. Would recommend always double-storing all your important data as a secure backup on two or three different HD, but so far, all my wd blue ezaz and 6tb intenso are working fine.

Ik geloof dat Intenso dit fantastische product op de markt brengt.Mijn Intenso Memory Board 4 Tb werd geleverd met een supersnelle 7200 RPM HDD (en niet 5400 RPM zoals geadverteerd) en het lijkt erop dat Intenso zijn HDD bij verschillende leveranciers betrekt.De meegeleverde kabel van 1,2 m werkt niet goed omdat deze geen volledige USB 3.0-overdracht ondersteunt en moest genoegen nemen met een alternatieve 0,5 m voor volledige USB 3.0-ondersteuning.De mijne is geformatteerd met het FAT-formaat, maar denk dat het het beste werkt met het ext3-formaat.De metalen behuizing wordt behoorlijk warm bij continu gebruik, en het is raadzaam om een kleine usb-ventilator te plaatsen voor wat luchtstroom.

Doet waar ik het voor gekocht heb.Betaalbaar.Effectief.

I bought this item to remove the hard drive to use internally in my pc and put an old 2tb hard drive in the enclosure. Firstly, it's a lovely enclosure, nice brushed aluminium casing - much better than the plastic casings that most external hard drives have. The first thing I did after unboxing was run a ntfs format. It took about 2 days, I have read previously that the intenso case slows this down to a crawl. This thing is slow although not a big problem of its just used for backups where speed is not a problem. Once this finally finished I removed the drive. To do the you need to pull back the rubber grip strips under the casing to reveal the screws, once these are removed the plastic inner slides out - mine revealed a wd blue 5400rpm drive, very nice. Next job is to plug in into my motherboard to see if its encrypted by the enclosure - this will explain the slow speeds.To summerise, nothing wrong with it, it's a nice looking drive, good drive inside & USB3. It only gets 4 stars because of the speed issue, I'd give it 4.5 stars if I could!

the drive was bought to enable me to back up my media and documents. the drive was less than 2/3 full (and two days after the 'return to Amazon' deadline) when the read/write heads failed. as such i am unable to repair the drive, reformat, delete it's content or pretty much do anything with it apart from trying to return it to the manufacturer. not impressed!

Très content, j'ai eu le 4to à 63€ paiement x4 inclus ( promo + offre Amazon 25ans ), sachant que rien qu'un boîtier 3.5' premier prix c'est une vingtaine d'€.Un logiciel m'indique qu'à l'intérieur c'est un WD Blue, il y a 3.63 to de dispo *, effectivement il arrive en FAT 32, il suffit de faire un formatage rapide NTFS pour pouvoir envoyer des fichiers de n'importe quelle taille, ( quand je vois des gens sans éducation sur le sujet renvoyer le produit et se hasarder à dire qu'il est défectueux alors que c'est juste ça qu'il y a à faire, et ils vont ensuite aller dire que c'est un produit nul ).C'est mon 1er 3.5 et c'est top de constater qu'en lecture de contenu il est complètement silencieux, juste en écriture on l'entend travailler un petit quand on lance la tâche ( le bruit caractéristique quand on entend un pc travailler ).Le câble USB est très solidement branché au hdd avec son connecteur et on a +/- 1m de longueur.Le câble d'alimentation fait +/- 1.50m.J'ai un optiplex 3050 SFF ( i5 6500 ), Win 10, et j'ai été surpris de constater qu'il envoie tout le temps les fichiers vidéo à 200/220 mo/s sur le disque dur, alors que sur mes 2.5 externe en USB 3.0 c'est que 80/100 mo/s .Le boîtier en lui même est en plastique façon laqué piano noir, sympa mais à manipuler avec précaution car c'est un aimant à empruntes de doigts.* Pour revenir à capacité annoncée/capacité constatée : c'est toujours le cas, une histoire d'unité de mesure, vous trouverez les explications sur le web, et il faut ajouter à cela un espace libre idéal de 20% à laisser, en prenant cela en compte ce hdd a donc grosso modo 3 to d'utilisables.Une façon de faire pour savoir quelle capacité il nous restera sur n'importe quel hdd c'est d'enlever 25% à la capacité annoncée ( 20% à laisser + capacité réelle inférieure).
