In the image it shows the circular bag with what seems to be rigid sides. Those sides aren't rigid, which makes the ball roll around less easily than it might have. That said, my cats can still see it and they did have fun jumping on it and chasing it.A big problem I have with it is that the battery in the ball after a full charge doesn't last very long. One play session and then leaving it on for an hour of intermittent play, only starting up when the cats activated it, and the battery needed charging again. Fortunately, I have a few similar balls so I could swap them out. But, if you only have the one, you are going to be spending more time charging it than your cats are playing with it.

Diese Bälle, die den Jagdinstinkt auslösen sollen, fand ich immer schon aus diversen Gründen schlecht. Sie waren Staubsammler, rollten unter jedes Möbelstück und ohne Teppich waren sie IRRE laut. Meine Katzen hatten mehr Angst davor als Spaß.Ich hatte nun gehofft, dass ich mit diesem Produkt glücklicher werde (und natürlich auch die Katzen), weil die Bälle mit Fell umgeben sind und sich in einem Stoff-Käfig befinden.Leider falsch gedacht. Auch diese Bälle rattern höllisch laut, schießen viel zu schnell herum, bleiben oft in Falten des Stoffes stecken und rattern dann dort weiter.Meine kleine Spielsüchtige Katze hat sich an dem Spielzeug versucht und wollte den Ball jagen, aber sie hat frustriert nach 5 Minuten aufgehört, weil sie den Ball praktisch gefangen, aber das Erfolgserlebnis nicht hatte (weil der Ball unter dem Stoff klemmte). Normalerweise spielt sie - wenn sie Spaß hat - gute 20 Minuten.Und mein Kater hat mehrfach versucht, den Ball aus dem Standby-Modus zu reaktivieren. Bei anderen Spielsachen klappt das. Hier aber leider nur SEHR sporadisch.Insgesamt unbefriedigend für alle Beteiligten.

Unlike other versions this one has a circular bag, avoiding corners and resulting in more unpredictable motion.As is usual with these, battery life is pretty limited - really no more than an hour's active play. However with the auto-shutoff after 5 minutes, this gives plenty of play and means that if the cat's given up chasing, it won't run the battery down "by itself". Charging from zero to fully charged is under 2 hours on a 20W charger.And as with all of these toys, the cats love it but do get bored / frustrated eventually. Have an interactive session with the cats once a week or so keeps it novel.
