The brake pipes may be the same, and the fittings similar, but M10x1 and these 3/8in‑24 here are not really identical. Don't mix them.The set is for 4 pipe connections. Sometimes the brake pipes are corroded nearer to the wheels, while the long pipe under the car from raer to front for example is still in good condition. So cut that somewhere and replace only the defective part. For this connection between old and new are these connectors.There may have been something gone lost from a Chinese translation, but this part is WRONG:"... when there is no flaring tool ...".These nuts are no compression fitting. Of course they need flares, either inverted, or way better the bulb types. This system here is inverted.If you don't know the differences, either learn it proper, or give the work to someone with experience and the right tools. Working on brakes: No option for errors.The items are yellow zinc coated which provides better corrosion resistance than blank steel.

No problems with these brake line fittings. They fit the 3/16 copper brake line just fine.
