Bought for my son, who was making a western film for school. He wanted the Clint Eastwood spaghetti western look. Looked really good.

I'm quite a fan of clothing that gives you a warming outer layer that you can just throw on and not have to worry about ironing/creasing/the fit etc. This poncho is ideal for that, it simply slips over your outfit for an added layer of warmth and it works really well to provide that - despite it being quite a thin material finish.It's perhaps not the type of thing I'd wear out into the city etc., but I'd happily pop down the local shops in it, or use it on the school run, as well as wearing it pretty much non-stop in the house with the colder weather. It's so good as the equivalent of a modern house coat!It also has a nice flow to the fit and it hangs well in place. I was a little confused at the start with this as I found the tassels were in my way over my hands as I'd put it on with the neck hole shaped to match my shoulders - which seemed the logical choice. However, it appears that it works best the other way around and this then avoids the tassel side being too long and hanging in the way of your hands.I'm hoping this washes and wears well as time goes on in order for this to last (it has been fine so far), although do take care not to snag it if you can help it as I have caught it once or twice already and it has left a little pull. Nothing that noticeable but just something to be aware of. On the whole, it's a great item, nicelly styled and so good at its job!

I was really drawn to the design of this poncho, and I'm a big fan of ponchos in general. This is cut from one piece of fabric, so there are no seams. There's fringing on 2 of the 4 sides. It can be worn with the fringing at the wrists, covering the arms fully with less length at the body, or turned to have the fringe front & back, with longer length, and stopping a little short of full length on the arms.It's a fairly light poncho, so it's good for Spring/Autumn or cooler Summer evenings, or can be worn over a coat or thick jumper to add more layers in the colder months. It's also soft and comfortable enough to serve as a wearable blanket at home.I really like it and have worn it practically every time I've been out since it arrived.
