I simply love the sharpness and versatility of cutting any kind and depth of wood.. rough cuts I mean

Durch das sehr flexible Sägeblatt lassen sich sehr wand- und bodennahe Schnitte durchführen, bzw sogar komplett bündige Schnitte.Bereits die 7 TPI Seite liefert ein recht feines Schnittbild.Für die feine Seite hatte ich bisher noch keine Verwendung, bzw dauerte es mir einfach zu lange und habe wieder auf die grobe Seite gewechselt.Das Sägeblatt ist auswechselbar, wielange diese Säge halten wird, kann ich nicht einschätzen.Einzig der Griff besteht aus Hartplastik, hier wäre eine Gummierung angenehmer, daher auch 1 Stern weniger.

I have become a devotee of pull-saws in recent years and I purchased several recently to try out. I use handsaws to cut up small branches and pallets for firewood so it has to be efficient and sharp (I gave up using traditional saws for this years ago as they require so much extra brute force than these thin bladed pull saws), and this saw is the best I have used so far.It takes hardly any effort to cut pallets; to give this some context, its friction was so low I could sometimes cut the wood when only holding it in place with a single finger! The blade is so thin that the kef is just tiny, so hardly any effort is wasted when cutting. The blade is a good width and length so that it will maintain a straight line through a deeper cut, unlike thinner blades that just lose their way and can jam. (I know this isn't what they are designed for in many cases but it made a real difference to me so its worth mentioning).The thing that I really like about this was the handle, as it allowed me to use about 5 different grips and sawing positions. If one position got tiring I could simply change to an overhand grip etc to give those muscles a rest, and I could attack these pallets from all sorts of different angles that a traditional saw/handle would prevent. Although other saws might be 'faster' in cutting these, they need so much extra effort to force their wider blades through the wood and I'm all about efficient cutting.I was expecting it to wear out fairly quickly but it is still going strong weeks later, and although I'll not be able to sharpen it I won't mind paying the price for a new one when required.If you were to use this for its real purpose (flush cutting etc) then the blade leaves a lovely clean edge and is flexible if you need to bend onto a flat surface to cut dowels or whatever.To sum it up I'm delighted with the saw and the manufacturer, and I'll be trying out some of their other products to see if they are of similar quality.
