It is just a piece of metal, so not a big deal. However, in the pictures it looks like a nicely polished product. In reality the top and bottom are grinded flat. You can see the grinding marks clearly. Doesn't affect it's use, but it's not as shown in the picturs. Just be informed about that. For the price it is ok I guess but I prefer a calibrated version.

Ce n'est pas de l'acier inoxydable, c'est de l'acier chromé, descriptif erroné.Not made of stainless, it's mild steel chromed, wrongly described.

I put it on scale and it weighted aroung 670g. I use it for 58mm Gaggia Classic portafilter original basket. Easy to tamp with and does the job well for Gaggia Classic. The only thing that it woul be better for Gaggia would be if it was a little bigger in diameter like 58,4mm.

Superb quality. Heavy weighted 58mm tamper that fit my Gaggia portafilter perfectly. Honestly can't be happier for less than a tenner.
