Iwata-Medea Medea kroonkap voor Eclipse A3, zilver

I use this in my restorations and it’s great. I plan to pick up another for my second airbrush so I don’t have to switch them over. Much less spattering and easier to get in up close without removing the cap.

Very pricey for a small part, though well made.The big drawback is that you cant easily block off the nozzle any more with your finger to backmix the paint in the airbrush pot using the airflow (this is a gravity feed Iwata Eclipse airbrush).Only reason (for me) to buy was the hope that you could get finer lines using this type of capMy airbrush technique is not good enough yet to say if you really can get a finer line with it or not. (I really cant tell, so difference (if any) is pretty small). Will probably go back to the original ring style nozzle cap for the time being.So in hindsight probably would not buy this part until my technique is way better than it is now

I added this part along with the 0.3mm needle and nozzle to my Iwata HP-CS. The paint coverage is much fuller and smother on small models since making these changes.

Helps with paint flow and lessens dry tip.

This doesn’t fit my airbrush tip. Unable to screw it onto the needle.
