I am a fountain pen enthusiast and prefer using bottled ink. J. Herbin is one of my favorites particularly this color - Violette Pensee. It comes in a plastic bottle, not the usual glass, but the price for the amount of ink that you receive is a great price.

This is a true neutral violet and not a pink hued purple. 4 stars for cheap light plastic bottles. They need to be glass. These get knocked over easily when the ink gets low.
