If you have an older style frame with frame braze-ons for the gear cables, you'll need a set of these, and jagwire are some of the best. Nice quality threading looks after your frame (cross threading this would be a disaster), and the circlip allowing you to install them easily is ingenious in its simplicity. Once installed they do their job perfectly, allowing you to keep your gears perfectly in tune without fiddling at the derailleur or installing an online adjuster that jams, breaks, and lets water and rust into the middle of your cable housing (typically great sram engineering on display there).

Nice to the touch with a claimed alloy base. I hope it doesn’t rust.
