Can I give this 10 ⭐Stars?⭐ what an excellent ingenious invention. This is a must have in the kitchen. You can't beat the price. I want to buy a second one just so I can always have it till the day I die and pass it on to my children that's how wonderful this rice strainer is. It's not just for Rice I use it for draining my pasta or vegetables or anything that needs to be strained. So far I have cooked a pound and a half of pasta and it fit into the strainer with a lot of room to give . I could have cooked two lbs and it would have held the 2 lb of cooked pasta. So what's so great about it? Well besides the design that being, it's easy to use, you never get burned and you can use one hand even if you have arthritis or weak muscles. Your pasta or rice or whatever you're straining does not fall out. All the water gets quickly drained and you do not lose not one elbow not one noodle not one grain of rice not one orzo. It's so easy to use and on top of that you don't have any dirty dish water backing up into it because it is a solid piece and the drain holes are at the top on one side. As far as rice getting stuck in the holes yes, some rice may get stuck in the holes that's not a deal-breaker. It's so easy to release, just give it a little tap and the rice comes out. What more could you ask for from a strainer? Every thought and every good engineering idea has been placed into this one product. Yes I am raving about a strainer. I wish I had this all my life. I have always been grossed out by other strainers even if they have little feet on the bottom that water drains so quickly that it backs up but not with this little Gadget. Did I mention it's super easy to clean? Well it is! Not only that it is very sturdy not flimsy plastic at all very well made. I highly recommend you get yourself one before you're not able to.

I bought this because I needed a larger rice rinser bowl. I make 2-3 cups of rice at a time and this thing can easily accommodate that. It is a lot bigger than I was expecting. It even has a handle to easily hold it one handed. Super happy I decided to get this.It’s quite durable as well. Not flimsy at all. The material is quite thick so it won’t break that easily or bend.

I got this to rinse rice but find I use it every day for almost everything. Just wish it was not plastic.

at first i thought the size would be too much. but now i can dump several cans of chicken all at once (and its phosphates, starches, "natural" flavorings... bleh) and rinse and rinse and rinse, for my dog's meals. she doesn't need all those "extras" found in most canned chicken, (except wild planet's, but then you only get about 3.5 oz chicken). so i LOVE this for this purpose. works perfectly. at first i was concerned about the bpa status and that it's made in china (can't trust items made in china anymore after so many past issues) but since i'm not storing food in this and since alternatives to bpa aren't any better... this little contraption will do just fine.

It is very easy to use, however I am afraid if I drop there is no turning back. The plastic is very hard so I think it will crack from impacted or just shatter.
