I used two of these bandages around a tailpipe that had rusted through at the low point of a bend due to the car only being used for short trips.A combination of the bandages, copious amounts of wire and aluminium tape managed to cover what had become a reasonable sized hole.It's worked for about a year and a half now, and while not being a permanent cure, it has bought me some time. I know the next time will have to be a new pipe and I've enough money now to afford that.
