Opmerking:

Very precise and clean looking way to connect extrusion profiles at an angle. Comes with everything to install (as pictured in the product description). The quality is good with an even black finish. Five stars from me. I hope this helps to make a decision.

Metric 4040 extruded aluminum profiles are scaled-up versions of 2020 profiles (that are common in 3D printer frames). Since they are meant for heavier duty applications, their mounting hardware must be robust.These 4040 variable angle mounts are indeed sturdy. According to their product description, they are made from a zinc alloy (a common material for 4040 or 2020 profile hardware) and their relatively heavy weight is consistent with that. Their glossy black finish is uniform and survived a fingernail scratch test.The package also includes good, illustrated assembly instructions (in 5 languages) and a great assortment of hardware (a hex wrench, 4 T-nuts, M8 bolts of various lengths, 2 hand levers, and 8 profile alignment inserts). For static installations, two long M8 bolts are included that allow each hinge's angle to be locked with the hex wrench. For dynamic applications, the two included M8 hand levers can be used (instead of the long M8 bolts) to easily lock and adjust the angle as needed.The alignment inserts enable one or both mounts to be attached precisely to the end(s) of 4040 profile. For each end mount, using four alignment inserts accurately centres the hinge section to the profile (since the M8 attachment screw and the hinge's clearance hole don't provide precise alignment).Overall, this is a great kit. The mounts themselves are sturdy and nicely finished. The included instructions are good and the assorted hardware enables precise 4040 mounting for both static and dynamic applications. The kit's current price of 39.90 for two hinges is not inexpensive but is typical for such parts.

Great product and it works very well but when I opened the box one of the lever handle type bolts was missing. If the seller could send one lever handle that would be very much appreciated.

Rock-solid construction, nicely made and finished. Possibly a bit pricey but they seem to be worth it.
