I normally don't "gush" over products, but this pillow has transformed how I sleep. I have a bad neck from a motorcycle accident when I was 17. Hit a deer at uh "speed" and went end over end, flew like superman and landed on my face. I have fused vertebrae in my neck, and not because the doctors did it. Now that I'm 54 it's time to pay the piper, and it stinks!This pillow is so nice I don't know where to start. First off it's soft, but firm. Much like a latex mattress (NOT memory foam!) or that brand that's named after a color you get when you mix red and blue.I don't know if it IS latex but it sure feels like it and that's not a bad thing. Latex mattresses are insanely comfortable and expensive. Anyhow, the contour in the middle for your neck is on both sides of the pillow and they are set up just right to provide support, but not feel like a rolled up towel is under your' neck.The concave center for your head was also a nice surprise as well. What I was concerned about was feeling like my head was trapped in one spot all night. Well that proved to not be the case, you don't feel like your head is in a bowl or anything like that. Again, enough support with all the "give" you need. I was able to lay on my side during the night no problem and also able to move around in my sleep without any problems. It's not a one position pillow.The pillow is very dense and heavy so it doesn't move around on you. For me that's fine, but just FYI. The fabric is very soft and has a silky luxurious feel while the bottom is cotton quilted for stability . I honestly don't even want to put a pillow case on it. I have not yet, so I can't comment on fitment with that either but it is the same size as my other pillows. I will try it and if there is a problem, I'll update this review. I do actually go back and edit my reviews if needed FYI.I honestly can't say enough good about this pillow. It has transformed my nights. Thank you.
