Super lens hood for the Canon 800mm F11 lens. It does exactly what is expected and has a nice lock button for locking and releasing the hood. It's well made and fits perfectly. A lot cheaper than the Canon version and just as good. Highly recommended.

Fits well to my Canon RF 800mm F11 lens with a sturdy release button, shades bright sunlight and provides adequate protection from bumps and scratches damaging expensive lens glass.A very good alternative to Canon proprietary prices.A little bulky in both forward/reverse positions but getting a new camera bag so should not be an issue.

Offered as a very cost effective alternative to Canon's outrageously expensive 'ET 101' hood ( = £60 quid for a short plastic tube!!!), this version represents an excellent product at a fair price.The plastic hood has a little 'give' so should be able to accept the odd knock or bump AND helps to protect the front lens element and main body. Pleasingly the inside of the hood is matt black, which should help to attenuate oblique reflections from bright sources just outside the main field of view.The hood may be 'reversed and stored mounted on the front of the lens which is a major PLUS, as it saves the inconvenience and space required for separate stowage. The reversed hood and lens just fit inside the JJC DLP-7 130 x 310 mm Water Resistant Deluxe Lens Pouch with Strap, which I use with success ~ another excellent productwhich matches the RF 800 lensvery nicely.
